I just discovered your blog. Brilliant.

I do like to have time on my own, and a big part of my job involves sitting in a padded room for several hours a day, but I do enjoy the interaction with others.

I, too, share your sentiments about being home alone. That means I can spend at much time as I want to with our Father as I want to. I can praise, shout, cry or whatever! And in my darkest hours, I know He's right here to comfort me like no co-worker in corporate america ever could.

Being alone does have its benefits. I, too, am a loner. When I was younger I didn't think I wanted to be. But today I'm sure I don't mind. Being alone allows me to think. I also get so much more done when there are no interruptions.

Hey Wendy, great to hear from you! It's amazing too, how quickly your time can get filled with things that can be distracting too - that is one thing I have to work on always. Managing multiple blogs and writing has become a passion and I often want to write when I should be doing work. However, just the peace and quiet of home (office) alone is a real blessing and I don't get stressed like I did in my corporate office days.

Hi Kathie

This is exactly what I am looking forward to - whole days of time home alone to focus more on my business, and to focus more clearly on my goals.

I also work from home as a Virtual Assistant, mostly focusing on digital transcription and working with headphones on.

The last of our four children has just started fulltime work this week, after three years of university that saw him coming and going at different times each day, and usually only three days a week. It meant that I had other adults home at least half of my 'business hours'! Although one of the reasons I love working from home is for the flexibility it offers to work around family and other commitments, hobbies, etc.

I'm really looking forward to establishing and getting into a routine of more business hours and just generally being less distracted at incidental times during the day.
