Kathie, (sorry I spelled your name wrong!), yes it is funny that we wait for permission - that's exactly what I did. Perhaps Spirit knew that I needed to have that confirmed and not feel I was overstepping any boundaries. Interesting how liberated I felt once I was told that, though!

It is joyful and isn't it funny that sometimes we wait to 'get permission' when we already receive prompting from the Spirit?

Kathy, yes! It changed me quite a bit when I heard my pastor talked about how we're all called to be priests/ministers in the church. It was as though I felt God was empowering me with the freedom to not hold back the promptings I feel in my spirit, which are directed by his Spirit. Hallejulah! I am called to jump in and minister! What a joyful thing, don't you think?
