I came across an interesting article on the web about ways a church can serve its members by supporting ministry in the workplace.
I wonder how many people have even realised that ‘their’ own ministry or faith seems to concentrate around one day of the week, rather than all seven? It took me quite awhile to wake up to this - I think it’s been a slow gradual awakening over the past 5 or 6 years for me, perhaps even longer. I cannot consciously recall a moment when I suddenly realised that I was only worshipping and serving God on Sundays, rather than all week long. This doesn’t mean I wasn’t praying or talking to Him on the other days of the week (I was), but rather that I wasn’t actively seeking to do His will on the other days of the week.
