I work where I do because the Lord put me there. A few years ago I came across a lady who had dementia and was so emaciated from malnourishment. I took up her defence, and with my only loyal ally a social worker we struggled upward against so much opposition, incredibly from the so called "health" sector. So much so each of us spent many sleepless nights, frustrated and angry, but still determined to help this woman. I faxed the social worker a copy of Exodus 17.1-7. We were certainly most unpopular. It all came to a head with a tribunal hearing the result of which was not a popular decision with many, but which has finally resulted in this lady being appropriately cared for and being able to remain in her own home. If I had not had been in the job I was in, this lady's outcome would have been a whole lot different and a very sad ending to a wonderful woman. My work role has taken a completely different path this year, and it has been a year of momentus change, but I know ultimately that I am being guided and will be put where I am needed and have a job to fulfil. It is not the 9-5 job that I am referring to, its the spiritual one. I truly would be lost without my faith. I will be interested to read the book you refer to.

Spot on darling - you've hit the nail on the head. Don't know why it took me such a long time to find out - you're so blessed to know it so early in your life. God has got a plan for you and I can see He's been guiding your path all along.

Looking forward to you being back home again! Glad you like the template! Love mum

Can I borrow that book when I get home? Totally sounds appealing! Dunno how people can not work at something unless they enjoy it... and why would the desire of your heart be put there unless you're supposed to do something about it with your life!

Love the theme on this page, btw :D
