I’ve been on a journey for many years that has led me through different workplaces, I’ve met lots of people, and all along God has been guiding me to the point where I am now. That journey has consisted of meeting His people in the workplace and in turn, sharing about Him in the workplace to others. But I didn’t know it was my ministry till recently - although the desire to mentor others, encourage and help guide them has been growing stronger for several years.
For a couple of years I worked as Church Secretary (thinking that was where God wanted me) whilst maintaining my business on the side but as time passed I found the desire to be back at home fulltime with my business increasing. I felt guilty about that until I began getting Words of Prophecy from visiting Pastors and others who told me God wanted me in the business world - not working in the church. Whilst that confused me somewhat as I knew I had a ministry (somewhere) I was actually glad to be told to go back home into my business fulltime, which I did.
A series of events led us (my husband and me) to a new church and there being newly established was a business ministry. In fact they hadn’t started on it yet - it was on their list of things to do. We had just walked in at the right time! I was later told they’d had in mind another couple to run it but they had left to go to another church.
I’m now a member of the core group working on the outline for what the ministry group will do and my plan is to report on that here as it develops. But more than that, to write about my own discovery on what God has revealed in His plans for workplace ministries in general.
If you’ve read my blog God-Incidence, you’ll find it was exactly that which led me to purchasing the books I’m currently reading, and which in turn, have led me to establishing this particular blog. Why not share the journey with me, and the path that God has you travelling in relation to Workplace Ministries. KMT

This resonates with me very much. I worked for a Christian organization for almost 10 years thinking that’s where God wanted me. Little did I know, He was growing me during my employment there. If it weren’t for this ministry, I wouldn’t be where I am today background-wise. God works in ways that I don’t always understand, but man He always has a plan! Sometimes I wish He would just hurry up and tell me already…yes I’m impatient.

Hey Becki, great to see you here and I had no idea! I guess in the circles we usually mix we don’t promote our personal beliefs and backgrounds. So good to hear your story and know you understand what I’ve been going through. Bless you! Kathie
